Ceremonial Cacao Recipes

Daring Ventures Await..

After many hundred cups of raw cacao, I have decided to mix it up a little, to explore abundant ingredients not only for flavour but for vitality. There are some really cool recipes I have created for you guys to try out! So.. Lets get into them.

The Winter Warmer

The perfect Winter drink, or just for a cozy day!

Ingredients:

  • 20-50g Cacao
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Ground Ginger
  • Finely Grated Nutmeg (optional)
  • Honey or sweetener of choice

To make this, heat up a cup worth of water or plant milk until steaming and then add all your ingredients at once, making sure the cacao is chopped finely. Whisk thoroughly for a couple minutes to really make sure the drink is super smooth!

There is nothing better than a hot cup of cacao on Christmas day :)

The 'Immunity Cacao'

Now this one needs a brief explanation. Combining cacao and chaga mushrooms creates a beverage exceptionally rich in antioxidants. Both ingredients are among the highest in antioxidant content globally, providing a synergistic boost to the immune system and overall body.

Ingredients:

  • 20-50g Cacao
  • 20g Chaga Mushroom Chunks
  • 5g Bee Pollen
  • Honey or sweetner of choice

This requires a bit of time.. To begin, place 1 1/2 cups worth of water into a saucepan and bring it to simmering. First, add the chaga chunks and let the water simmer for around 20 minutes or so, to really infuse the chaga. Once this is done, strain the liquid into a new pan, to avoid any chunks remaining. This chaga infused water should be the perfect heat to add your cacao. Whisk vigourously and then add the honey for a further health boost. To finish off after serving, we will sprinkle in some bee pollen. Not only does this taste delicious, it feels great after!

'Rosemary Focus' Cacao

A delicious awakening..

Ingredients:

  • Handful of Rosemary
  • 20-50g of Cacao
  • Cup of Coconut Milk or Water
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
  • A Sprinkle of Black Pepper
  • Honey
  • Pinch of Salt

Begin by heating up your milk/water until steaming, then add your rosemary sprigs and let sit on a low heat for 10 minutes. Next, remove the rosemary, and add all the other ingredients in at once. Make sure to stir until smooth, then your cacao will be ready!

Did you know? Turmeric's curcumin becomes significantly more bioavialble when mixed with black pepper.

For The Feminine..

Cacao has been used for millenias to help open the heart, something integral to the feminine. It is also a superb drink for womb health due to its high mineral content. This is a uniquely flavoured cacao but I have crafted it for all the women out there!

Ingredients:

  • 20-50g of Cacao
  • Cup of Plant Milk
  • 1 Tsp Evening Primrose Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Maca Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Collagen Peptides
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • Grated Ginger or 1/2 Tsp Ginger Powder
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
  • Pinch of Sea Salt

Gently heat your milk up until steaming. Turn the heat off and add all your ingredients, whisking vigourously to help infuse the Evening Primrose. You Can have this unsweetened or add some Raw Honey to boost the flavour!

For The Masculine..

Of course, I had to include a recipe for the masculine. This contains a couple different ingredients to help boost tesosterone and overall masculine vitality. Certainly some of the most potent natural boosters.

Ingredients:

  •  20-50g of Cacao
  • Cup of Coconut Milk
  • 1 Tsp of Cistanche
  • 300mg of Semveta Shilajit
  • 2 Tbsp Collagen Petides
  • 1 Tsp Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinammon Powder
  • Raw Honey
  • Pinch of Sea Salt (Mineral Boost)

Super Quick and Simple!! Heat up the milk until it is steaming, turn the heat off, then add all of the ingredients and mix until smooth & creamy. This is a great drink for boosting overall vitality and works great before the gym.
