Ceremonial Cacao is made from a single bean origin, only the very highest quality with the richest flavour notes. Our ceremonial cacao is sourced from the Nacional Bean from Ecuador, the world's oldest known cacao species, it has a rich history of traditional use and has a powerful, smooth yet rich flavour that you will really notice.
The Processing -
In particular, extended fermentation and low temperature roasting. This helps bring at the flavour notes of the bean while also retaining a higher bioavailability of important nutrients, such as Theobromine.
The Ethics -
Always sourced responsibly, working with local farmers paid higher wages than commercial chocolate production.
